Description
The Maxima U3000 is a desktop USB fingerprint reader used at the admin desk to enrol staff onto access control and attendance software, rather than at the door. Its 500 DPI optical sensor with a 14 x 17mm reading area captures clean templates, and the unit supports a 3 000 fingerprint algorithm with a false reject rate of 0.0001 percent or better. It connects over USB 2.0 on a 120cm lead, with plug-in simplicity for reception and HR workstations. A free SDK is available for integrators who want to build enrolment into their own software.
